Mobile broadband is very useful especially when your not in the office, and you are traveling somewhere. Internet is still with you because of mobile broadband.

The price comparison will help the potential customers to compare and contrast the features and offerings of different mobiles. Would like to add that people are preferring voip phones to mobile phones. Have a look http://www.nettalk.com

Good article and to the point, also just to expand for any business looking to use NGN numbers 0800, 0845, 0871 ect. With ISDN channels coupled with a DDI range you could point your NGN number to a specific DDI number and with most phone systems utilizing a call logging client/software will enable you to tack the effectiveness of any marketing campaign. Just a thought.

I would personally always include a geographic alternative number on any commerce site, probably on the contact page. For people who want to call using mobiles, a non geographic number costs a fortune, raises questions about trust and may even put people off buying.

I signed up with KCT 2 years ago, they said they were part of BT too. I also discovered they had signed me up for a 5 year contract. I would not have agreed to this as my lease for my premises was only 2 years. They sent me the recording of the sales person going through the blurb, and he rushed through loads of info and in the middle of the spiel, he says 'prices are fixed for 60 months' As far as I am concerned that is not informing me other than prices are fixed for 60 months, and not being signed into a contract for 5 years. A very clever way of saying it, and no doubt designed to not get your alarm bells ringing.

When calling through a mobile, it's guaranteed that local rate "geographic" numbers are cheaper. However some providers such as BT provide much lower cost "non geographic" numbers, which goes without saying for 0800 calls.

The main advantage of VoIP broadband phone service is the cost. VoIP broadband phone providers charge you a much lower monthly fee for local, long distance and international calls than traditional phone service. VoIP provides a significant cost savings over telephone service from the traditional providers. This is particularly true in the area of long distance rates, with many VoIP service providers offering plans with unlimited long distance calling at a low monthly flat rate. Very few traditional carriers offer affordable unlimited service – even if they do the monthly rate is prohibitive for the average consumer. So most consumers end up paying some form of per-minute rate for their long distance.
