I bought a ‘genuine’ replacement Dell laptop battery from Archos specialist NewMP3Technology.com in April 2010 and by July 2010 it would not hold a charge any more. Couldn’t use their 3 month return system because it was more than 3 months and despite having the normal 1 year UK consumer protection and 2 year EU consumer protection they have totally ignored my messages through their contact page andĀ left on voicemail. I have started an OFT complaint but they have so far ignored my correspondence to the UK address on their website.
Beware of dealing with NewMP3Technology.com for laptop batteries Archos accessories or anything that might go wrong and need replacingĀ – their customer service appears to be non-existent.
