KEY SYSTEM
A small type of telephone system using buttons or keys to access outside lines and standard features such as call holding and line pick-up.

KILOSTREAM
A kilostream line - offers speeds of 64 kbps (or more with aggregated circuits), and is most commonly used to connect different locations on a private network, or to connect to an Internet Service Provider for an "always on" Internet connection. Usually dedicated to one organisation with full use of the bandwidth, but there is a lower cost alternative where bandwidth is shared by a limited number of neighbouring subscribers.
